What if I don’t store my mobile number in my profile?
You'll still get the help you need, but it may take a little longer because we'll need to ask you for your Dividend Miles number, confirmation code and other information. If you have your number stored in your profile, we'll know it's you and look up any upcoming travel…before you say a word.
Can I store my house or work phone number instead?
For your security, it has to be your mobile number. Other people may have access to your home or work phone, and more than one Dividend Miles member may share a land line.
My mobile number is in my BeNotified profile for automatic flight notifications. Will the system recognize me when I call?
We're working to consolidate that information, but for now please make sure you update your Dividend Miles profile with your mobile number.
Can I make a reservation through the new system?
Not entirely, but it'll be much faster! First, we'll collect all your travel information. Then we'll send it to an agent so he or she knows exactly what you need.
Can I change my seats?
Yes! You may select seats based on eligibility and availability.
Does the system speak Spanish?
Coming soon, we'll have a similar system available in Spanish. Until then, you should press 9 at the main menu for a Spanish-speaking agent.
Can I really say anything I want and the system will understand me?
Well…almost. The 'natural language' main menu (the first in the airline industry!) allows you to speak just as you would to a real person. If we can’t figure out what you need, we’ll offer some hints and tips to help you out. And over time, our system will actually learn from our callers, which will make your experience even better.
I don’t like talking to voice recognition systems. Can I still press the buttons on my phone?
Absolutely! We'll also give you the option to use your keypad if you prefer.
I heard the new system will say my name. Is this true?
Our system is able to say 95% of our Dividend Miles members' names.
